The
downtown area of Ritzville is truly a historic area. Many
buildings are on the
National Historic register.
The city has
put together a 36 page booklet that will guide you through a pleasant and informative hour long stroll through historic

Ritzville currently has 2 fine historical museums. The Dr. Frank
Burroughs home has had very few alterations
and has much
of its' original wallpaper, floor coverings, and
furnishings intact.
The second museum is the
Railroad Depot. It serves as a
reminder of the importance of the railroad to Ritzville's
economy and social life. The railroad was instrumental in
carrying crops
