Public Infrastructure
Renovated in 2002,
“Well 8” is Ritzville’s primary water supply. In high demand summer
irrigation or during periodic maintenance, two smaller wells are
called into service. A new “Well 9” is fully funded
and designed.
Ritzville’s sewer
treatment facility is a lagoon type with four cells and was built in 2000.
Our master sewer plan dictates that $50,000.00 a year is spent
on improvements and maintenance to our collection system
including pipes, mainline, manholes etc.
Ritzville has
a pavement preservation plan in place that continually surveys
current conditions, identifies needs, and makes annual repairs.
